Business and Employment Bureau is registered under the Societies of Registration Act 1860 and established in 1970 by Founder of Hamdard, Janab Hakeem Abdul Hameed Sahab for the purpose to help the unemployed young men and women of minority communities and backward classes and also to assist them for getting jobs in Multinational Companies, Private/Public Sectors, Govt. Organizations, Limited Companies and Industries. The B.E.B. organizes job fairs by inviting reputed companies for campus recruitment of those candidates who have 10 & +2 qualification onwards. The placement cell keeps close interaction with Industry and identifies the potential of employers and their contemporary requirements of jobs. We organize Industry - B.E.B. interaction through pre-placement talks, seminars, lectures and discussions.

The B.E.B. has also developed the website to apply for any kind of job online and get registered themselves of any type of employment such as skilled, semi-skilled, unskilled, ministerial and technical jobs. The aim of the Society is to enhance and facilitate the process of gainful employment for entry level jobs as well as mid-level jobs opportunities matching to their qualification and experience. The freshers may also get themselves registered.

The B.E.B. is starting job oriented vocational courses from six months to one year for the candidates who have passed 10 and 10+2 qualifications. National Institute of Open Schooling (An Autonomous Institution under Dept. of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India) has allotted Accredited Vocational Institute (AVI) to run the following vocational education courses from the current academic session 2016-17(1st July,2016).

  • Diploma in Modern Secretarial Practice- 1 year
  • Computer & Office Application- 6 months
  • Data Entry Operation- 6 months
  • Stenography English – 1 year
  • Basic Computing- 6 months

The B.E.B. is also planning to start skill development short term training courses in different trades such as Food Technology, Media and Entertainment, Retail, Tourism and Hospitality, Beauty and Wellness in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation, FICCI and may get training partnerships from other trade councils.
